Short version: Castpane and Castpane Link collect nothing about you and send nothing outside your local network. This website has no analytics and sets no cookies.

Castpane for Windows

• Castpane receives screen and sound from devices on your local network and shows them on your PC. That stream stays between your devices. It is not recorded or sent anywhere.
• The app has no analytics, no tracking and no account.
• Castpane keeps a diagnostic log on your PC to help with troubleshooting. It never leaves your PC unless you choose to send it to us yourself.
• Your purchase, the free trial and updates are handled by the Microsoft Store. Microsoft processes that information under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. We do not receive your payment details.

Castpane Link for Mac

• Castpane Link only talks to the Castpane PC on your local network. It does not connect to the internet.
• It sends your PC a request to be announced to, and optionally your Mac's name so the PC can show who asked. Nothing else.
• No analytics, no tracking, no account.
• If you get Castpane Link from the Mac App Store, the download and updates are handled by Apple under the Apple Privacy Policy.

This website

• No analytics, no cookies, no third-party scripts and no third-party fonts.
• Like any web host, the server that delivers these pages may keep standard request logs (such as IP address, page and time) for security and operations. We do not use them to track you.

If you email us, we use your message and address only to answer you.

If any of this changes, this page will be updated before the change takes effect.
